North Atlanta Urgent CareAfter having established a successful practice at their initial location, the clients wanted to create an iconic building for their second office that could be replicated moving forward as part of a “brand” identity. During the earliest stages of the project’s conception, the Nobel Prize for medicine was awarded to a group of researchers who had made ground breaking discoveries regarding the human genome. Inspired by these breakthroughs, Rutledge Alcock drew heavily upon themes of cellular structure and cell division during the initial stages of ideation. Programmatically, the new facility includes eight exam rooms, an X-ray room, a laboratory, as well as various support areas. |
