Inman Green

The client’s goal for this project was ambitious:  to develop Georgia’s first ever LEED Gold certified multi-family housing community.  These urban condominiums establish a unique new living environment by utilizing energy saving strategies, incorporating sustainable construction materials, maximizing natural daylighting, and improving indoor air quality.  The project’s simple material palette is juxtaposed against the diverse architectural language of historic Inman Park, simultaneously a compliment and a contrast to the surrounding industrial landscape.  Each residence features large sliding glass walls that open onto a sheltered outdoor living space, blurring the boundary between the private interior and the communal exterior.
