Paradise Biryani

This project called for the custom build-out of a new Indian restaurant with a limited construction budget.  The restaurant is located on the street level of a mixed use development with four floors of residential units directly above.  This meant designing the HVAC, plumbing, and kitchen exhaust systems were a major challenge.  Rutledge Alcock developed a custom wood stain for the interior millwork that uses an Indian curry extract to give the finish a unique, luminescent quality. Custom acoustical ceiling panels dampen sound while drawing light deep into the space.
