Decatur Courtyard

Courtyard by Marriott invited Rutledge-Alcock Architects and Sims Patrick Studio to lead a major renovation of their existing five story 130,000 square foot Holiday Inn in Downtown Decatur. The entire hotel was renovated and re-branded in compliance with the official Courtyard Program. We persuaded Courtyard to allow us the license to create custom features to expand and enhance the central lobby within the five story atrium. The renovation included a new Port Cochere for the Hotel and Conference Center and transformation of the existing Atrium Lobby, meeting facilities, banquette halls, restaurant, guest amenities, and 179 guest suites.
